Ever wanted to liquefy Doritos? Good news: They went ahead and did it for you. Yes, two of the best Doritos flavors<\/a> are now dips. Introducing: Doritos Cool Ranch Jalape\u00f1o Dip and Doritos Spicy Nacho Dip! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ll admit it; I was skeptical when I first saw these. I love Doritos\u2014but Doritos are all about flavor powder,<\/em> not flavor goo<\/em>. (Side note: I would absolutely buy a Doritos-inspired dry rub. Spicy Sweet Chili brisket? Hell yes.) I was also initially confused about how to use them. But then I realized that the possibilities were limited only by my imagination. The dips are meant to be used for whatever you dang well please: pizza, veggies, chips, Doritos! You can spread them on a sandwich or pour them onto a hot dog. But do you want to? I tried both flavors of Doritos\u2019 new dips to find out. Here\u2019s what I thought.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

I never thought I would say this about a Doritos product but this Cool Ranch Jalape\u00f1o dip is surprisingly nuanced in flavor. It has a wonderful, creamy quality and then a kick of zestiness at the end. It doesn\u2019t taste exactly like Cool Ranch Doritos (my personal favorite Doritos flavor<\/a>), but it\u2019s unmistakably related. I\u2019d use this to dip pizza crust (or drizzle straight onto pizza) or veggies or chicken wings<\/a>, and I also think it\u2019d be killer on a crunchy veggie sandwich. This dip crept up on me. At first I liked it, but after a few bites I had to keep myself from throwing it into my bag and taking it home for some alone time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Cool Ranch Japa\u00f1eo was good\u2014really good\u2014but Doritos Spicy Nacho Dip is pure cheesy gold. It\u2019s absolutely incredible. You can eat it hot or cold (I prefer hot because it really intensifies the flavor). And it instantly transforms anything into a Spicy Nacho Doritos chip. If you need to convince yourself to eat more vegetables, just dip them into this. If you need to convince yourself to eat a shoe because of some strange bet you\u2019re bound to, just dip it in this. Anything you can get your hands on\u2014dunk it into this flavor-blasted dip. Dunk your hands into it! You must buy this dip before I buy all of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
